How long have you been coaching?
After beginning in the Spring of ’13, I immediately obtained my L1 a couple months later. From there I landed my first coaching position at The Arsenal/Muncie CF the following Summer. So, coming up on two and a half years.
What do you like most about CrossFit?
The community aspect is second to none. We forge some really great bonds between people who may not usually have anything in common. I think CrossFit brings out who you truly are, and makes you face that reality. We push our bodies to the limit constantly, and that takes a degree of mental fortitude that is hard to come by. Through these struggles you share an experience with the person struggling right next to you, that is rarely replicated in the real world.
What sports did you play growing up?
Baseball, Judo and Wrestling were my main athletic endeavors.
What are your hobbies?
Besides CrossFit and Weightlifting? Ummm.. how about eating?
