I have always enjoyed running and activities that provide a good challenge. In high-school was “that guy” that tried to set a personal record in the gym class mile and was determined to keep my “Presidential fitness” standards. In college I played soccer and ran cross-country and made the most of the all-you-can-eat meal pass. After college, I played recreation league soccer and even got into Adventure Racing, but nothing provided both the challenge and the community I was seeking.
Then, 7 years ago, I was introduced to CrossFit.
At first I was intrigued, but also intimidated. I had never tried Olympic lifts before and was unable to do any of the prescribed workouts. After doing Cindy three times a week for one month, I decided I needed to get stronger. I dove in to Crossfit 100% and haven’t looked back.
Helping people reach their fitness goals is my passion. Whether you’re an experienced athlete or someone totally new to fitness, I want to be a part of your success. Pursuing health & fitness is not an easy pursuit, but having a community pushing & encouraging you make it achievable AND enjoyable. That’s what CrossFit is – a COMMUNITY.
Feel free to ask me about running, CrossFit Endurance, or why gluten is the devil.
