What is your name or nickname?
My name is Osmil, most people call me Os.
What class times do you usually attend?
I usually attend the 7:30 pm class, I try to attend the 6:30 pm occasionally so I can take my son to the gym and spend more time with him.
When did you start CrossFit?
In august 2014
What are the things you love most about Three Kings CrossFit?
I love how supporting and encouraging people are. I felt welcomed right away by both coaches and members. It’s a very positive fun environment with no negativity. Just being able to work side by side with much better athletes and never felt looked down. How committed everyone is to improving their fitness level. It’s also a very family friendly gym.
What are some your most recent accomplishments in the gym?
I have lost close to 65 Lbs since the beginning of the year by going to the gym regularly and eating smarter. I feel like my condition has improved a lot, my workout times are getting faster and my lifting techniques are getting better.
What kind of music gets you pumped up to workout?
I’m not very picky with workout music, just anything upbeat and with good bass. My only request is please no Justin Bieber music.
What is your favorite post-workout snack?
A protein shake, and/or a banana.
Your attendance is stellar, what keeps you coming back?
Just trying to reach my health and weight goals; trying to set a better example for my kids. I’m thankful that my wife supports me and allows me to spend the gym time that I need.
